The clergy rejected it, reportedly finding the saint too coarse, and Caravaggio painted the second version that still hangs in the chapel. The first version was bought by Vincenzo Giustiniani and later entered the Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum in Berlin, where it was destroyed by fire in 1945, at the end of the Second World War. This print is made from a historic photograph of the lost painting.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Printovly","offers":[{"title":"Digital Download","offer_id":67671813587098,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-DD","price":4.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"9x11 inches","offer_id":67671813619866,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-9X11","price":9.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"11x14 inches","offer_id":67671813652634,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-11X14","price":19.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"12x18 inches","offer_id":67671813685402,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-12X18","price":27.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"16x20 inches","offer_id":67671813718170,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-16X20","price":33.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"18x24 inches","offer_id":67671813750938,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-18X24","price":38.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"20x30 inches","offer_id":67671813783706,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-20X30","price":49.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true},{"title":"24x36 inches","offer_id":67671813816474,"sku":"PV-CAR-1216-24X36","price":54.99,"currency_code":"INR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0781\/0501\/8522\/files\/AL18g_R7XVEOejBnVyQeW5e43KmJDu1ZWe2ClGvYJip7i_euyQ-Y88owedCAb1n9W3F82tOzIbCXBcg.jpg?v=1791262323","url":"https:\/\/www.printovly.com\/products\/caravaggio-saint-matthew-and-the-angel-poster","provider":"My Store 3","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
