The Head of Leda Poster by Leonardo da Vinci — Authentic The Head of Leda Art Print for Modern and Traditional Interiors
On the right, Leda looks down in a demure three-quarter view; around her Leonardo draws the same head from behind and from the side, just to understand the braids. He spent little effort on the face and all his attention on the woven plaits, which read almost like geometric patterns. This The Head of Leda art print is an elegant choice for bedrooms, dressing rooms, salons and classic gallery walls.

About Leonardo da Vinci and The Head of Leda (1505)
Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) made this sheet around 1505–1508 in black chalk with pen and ink, measuring about 20 x 16 cm. In classical myth, Leda, queen of Sparta, was seduced by Jupiter in the form of a swan. Leonardo worked on the subject for many years, exploring both kneeling and standing versions; his finished painting entered the French royal collection and was destroyed around 1700, so drawings like this are precious records of it. The sheet came through Francesco Melzi and Pompeo Leoni to the Earl of Arundel and has been in the Royal Collection since around 1690.
