The Last Supper Poster by Leonardo da Vinci — Authentic The Last Supper Art Print for Modern and Traditional Interiors
Christ sits at the centre of a long table, calm and still, as the apostles react in waves of shock to his words that one of them will betray him. The perspective lines of the room all lead to his head, making him the heart of the composition. This The Last Supper art print, taken from a classic reproduction of the mural, looks wonderful above a dining table, sideboard or console.

About Leonardo da Vinci and The Last Supper (1498)
Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) painted The Last Supper between about 1495 and 1498 on the wall of the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, commissioned by Duke Ludovico Sforza. Instead of true fresco he experimented with tempera and oil on dry plaster, which began to flake within his lifetime. Measuring about 4.6 x 8.8 metres, the mural survived wars and bombing, and a major restoration completed in 1999 revealed much of its original colour.
