About Leonardo da Vinci and Codex Arundel Folio 135v

Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) made this work around 1478–1518. The Codex Arundel gathers loose papers written by Leonardo between about 1478 and 1518, later bound together and owned by Thomas Howard, Earl of Arundel. Its pages cover mechanics, optics, geometry, water and architecture, all written in his distinctive right-to-left mirror-writing, and it is preserved at the British Library in London.
