The Burlington House Cartoon Poster by Leonardo da Vinci — Authentic The Burlington House Cartoon Art Print for Modern and Traditional Interiors
Saint Anne gazes at her daughter and points to heaven, hinting at Christ's destiny, while the baby reaches playfully towards his cousin. Faces and draperies are shaded in soft charcoal so that the figures seem sculpted from light, while other areas are only outlined. It is the only large-scale drawing by Leonardo that survives. This The Burlington House Cartoon art print captures the subtle tones and velvety shadows of the original for a calm, timeless look.

About Leonardo da Vinci and The Burlington House Cartoon (1500)
Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) made this cartoon — a full-size preparatory drawing — around 1499–1500, though some scholars date it to around 1506–1508. It is drawn in charcoal with white chalk on eight sheets of paper glued together and mounted on canvas, measuring about 141.5 x 104.6 cm. No painting based directly on it is known. The nickname comes from Burlington House, home of the Royal Academy of Arts, which bought the drawing in 1779. After a national public appeal, it was acquired by the National Gallery in London in 1962.
